Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how can I know when my female Cham is ready to lay eggs she is about 5 months but is there any change in coloration someone please tell me signs
Females become gravid when they are no longer receptive to a mate, meaning they have a clutch of eggs to lay in the near future. These colors are dark and you can look up pictures online to get a good reference. If you weigh her often, you will see a weight spike as her clutch grows. Some females eat and drink extra and then stop eating and drinking altogether in the hours before they lay. Do you have a laybin in your cage for her?

Yes she will develop and lay unfertilized eggs. the caresheet I listed shows the different colorations. Always have a seperate laying bin in the enclosure.
