Hello!
I recently bought my 3 month old Nosy Faly male panther 2 days ago. He since hasn't eaten or moved much, has slept most of those two days but he did drink the droplets off some leaves today, is this due to stress from the travel? Or can his set-up be improved?
I only picked him up once to move him into the enclosure and for a picture.
This is my first diurnal reptile so I'm new with the heatlamps and perch arrangements and such.
He's in a 45x45 exo terra, 10% 18inch UV with reflector, 60watt bulb on the right side of the enclosure reading 85F on the perches, the plants are wax and Madagascan ivy, misting three times a day lightly and have 1st instar brown crickets in the pot in the viv (same size as width of head).
He's also just finished shedding as you can tell by the picture, will this affect his appetite?
I was thinking of cutting back the ivy loop and putting it under the heat as he hasn't basked at all and is insistent on sitting underneath the leaves, the rest of the viv reads around 60F and humidity is 60.
Any advice would be wonderful,
Thank you
