Horrible...

Went to the small business petstore I got my Senegal at.. looked at the chams.. two were dying, one was dying as I was watching it.. first one had mouth rot, eyes closed, second one was on the ground, bones caved in, couldn't walk, I almost cried. I gave them info, the manager just said "it's brown because it's on dirt".

Theres a pet shop like that near mine called Daves! i went yesterday to get sum locust and crix and looked at his 6 month old Veileds. they were all Really dark brown and was only about 5 - 6 inches long if that, and they was all on the floor! They had no UVB light or basking bulb and only had one vine to climb on and there was 6 in one glass tank!! They also had adult crickets in there, it looked like the chams were the crickets food not the other way around!! felt like buying them all to make sure they was okay, would have done if i could afford to care for them all! i told the guy that worked there that they need alot more care and told him about the lights and suppliments ect..and he said they are happy like that and they are only small and dark because they dont have their own owner yet!!! Felt like crying for the little guys. Going to go again on Wednesday because he said his boss is in then! I hate how hes selling them and obviously doesnt no a thing about them, how can he then pass on information to the people hes selling them to.

I threatened to report them and next time I came in, they stopped ordering all reptiles except for snakes, which they take care of properly.
