Horrible...

Thanks! Just so everyone doesn't freak out, the two cage pics are from the cage I recently made my Senegal, the third one is the sick cham at the store.

This is really quite absured. Unfortunately since you are under age you can't walk in there pretending to be apart of PIDA and state that their enclosure is not under the proper conditions for animals therefore they could have their liscense to sell exotic animals revoked.

All you can do is contact your local authority and state that what you have seen, show your evidence, is animal cruelty and they need to be stopped. If you can speak with your parents about this and let them know how important it is to you. If you're very passionate about something there should be no reason why they would stop you.

It's more rewarding to know you did all you possibly could to help the animal then to hear someone just pass it off, like the woman did, as a non-crucial situation.

Addition: Each town has a center for animal cruelty. If you can't access the proper information to get ahold of them then just contact your local authority.

Wondering about pics posted.. are first 2 pics from that pet store??? That set up looks like NO pet store set up I've seen.. actually pretty awesome set up!

The pet store's enclosure was about a 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 feet. It was mostly screen, dirt on bottom, all fake vines, one small bendy branch, a waterfall, and the three dying chams. It only had a white heat lamp, red heat lamp, and NO UVB.

You have to report it to someone - try going to the petstore and asking who to report it to! They'll probably know.......otherwise write to your Congressman and ask who to report it to.......
