Hornworms and their adult moths are agricultural pests, though the chance this adult moth would even make it far enough to find compatible nectar to feed on is low. It is a soft bodied insect so your cham could eat it, but it's size may completely intimidate your cham. It may not even attempt it.

I don’t know about this one. I’ve hatched out my share of (hornworm) hawk moths and have found even the smallest a bit too large to dare to give to any of my chams, or even a beardie. The only cham of mine that I would even consider would be my big male veiled. All of my panthers are too small.

If we’re all a bit weird, wouldn’t that make us ‘normal’ for being reptile keepers? Maybe we just all have our own unique types of crazy. I apologize to my silkworms and roaches before feeding them to my animals and reassure them that it will be quick.
