Hibiscus bugs

I just noticed hibiscus I picked up came with aphids (I think) just wondering what you folks use to get rid of these? Unfortunately, I don’t have a picture right now (at work) to show y’all

I’m not sure if it will get rid of bugs, but I would think washing the plant with a dish soap like Dawn would help. Along with doing that, I get the plant down to as much bare root as possible, using the hose to wash all the soil away and repot it. I had a problem with ghost ants on my hibiscus, which a little bit of Terro placed outside but sitting on the stand cleared right up. If they are truly aphids, I’ve been told that lacewings will clear those up.
