Im new to the forums and thought i would say hi.

I used to keep all sorts of lizards growing up, but at 18 i joined the Army and have spent the majority of the last 7 1/2 years in Afghanistan or Iraq.

Before i joined i kept at one time or another: king snakes, gopher snakes, anoles, variety of geckos, skinks, blue bellies, california night snake (yes, i found out later he was poisonous), iguana, veiled chameleons, horny toad lizard, ball python, garter snakes and even a rattle snake for 3 months till my mom called the fire department on me...

but that was all over 10 years ago


But last week i bought my first Jackson Chameleon. I plan on eventually (later down the road) breeding him and pygmy chameleons...

Ditto that! I wouldn't even want to imagine the sacrifice of being away from home, spending that much time....in those two countries. I hope you enjoy the forums and have many years of fun with your new Jackson's!
