my question is do female panthers get just as color full as the males or are their colors abit dull?

no.

females are normally various shades of pink, brown, dark lavender and black.

they are very pretty, but they dont get red, orange and yellow or barring like males do.

alright cause me and my gf are looking to get a panther and we want one thats really colorful

i dont know yet i am not sure what to get it will be mine and hers first panther we are planning on spending around 300 or so for one.

and yeah i know that female are really pretty as well im just concerned about the egg laying and what not i wouldn't know what to do and i wouldn't want to do anything to stress her out to much.

egg laying isnt as bad as it seems. JMO.

I would go with an ambilobe. good chams, decent price.

If you are looking at getting an ambilobe or ambanja, definitely check out Chamelot Chameleon. GREAT looking chameleons come from there and at an even greater price. And they are really nice. :)

i will check them out i have pretty much looked everywhere just compareing prices stuff like that i will look in to those type of panther though thank you:)

Female panthers have very different colors than males. The purposes for their color changes are different than that of a territorial male. They can show very bright colors when gravid, non-receptive, or upset. They can be complete individuals in terms of patterns too. The range of color change from calm to stressed isn't as great as most males (for example they wouldn't go from blue green to red yellow like a Diego Suarez male can).

I'd suggest looking at the photo galleries and species profiles to get a better idea.
