He's Finally Here!

This is my first chameleon ever. He is a 5 month old male veiled. I named him Chaos. I dont really have too many pictures of him yet in the cage cause as soon as i got him in the cage, he turned black and went and hid in the corner. He had no interest in food yet, so im off to work and gonna let him get use to his environment.

He's a good sized one! Give him a little time to adjust (like you are), amke sure he has food and water (dripping water, spritzings/misting, wet leaves) and he should settle in nicely. Congrats!

I got him right here on the forums from lancecham

I did mist the cage heavily and left his dripper on when i left. I didnt leave any food in the cage. I am going to feed him as soon as i get home in a few hours.

Just a quick update....i got home from work and he was up in a basking spot. He is still very dark black/brown colored. However now he isn't running to the corner and hiding....still not interested in any food.

Give him time to settle in undisturbed. Ensure theres water, prefrably a dripper.
