I just wanted to let you guys know that Hermie got his LAST cast off today, and we have him on a low dose of calcium daily still. In a month or two we will get another xray of him to make sure that his bones aren't getting weaker or over-calcified.
Hermie's silk worm shipment came today ... and he scarffed down 9 faster than I could keep them coming into his cage, which I was happy to see.
Thank you everyone SO much for all of your help and support through all of this. I never thought that we'd make it this far ... ever. He really has been a fighter.
I don't have a digital camera, but when I get my pictures and picture CD back I will post a new picture of him ... he's even been gaining weight lately too!
