Help!!

My female chameleon laid eggs in her bin yesterday and now she’s on the ground of her cage! (the bin is still in there for her) we’ve moved her up to the branches twice now and she keeps going back down. why??

She may not be done yet. Did she cover them & go back to her basking spot after?
