Help!

So my chameleon has just done his first poo since saturday and it was very small in comparison to normal and i didnt feed him any less. He also seemed a little bunged up, i did buy him a box of mealworms as a treat because i cant get hold of any other worms in shops! Could they have bunged him up a little if so il stop feeding him them, hes very well hydrated as the urate was completly white. Thanks in advance

Yeah hes a panther and yeah he will eat anything you put in front of him, he has his usual locusts and was having a couple mealworms as a treat

Okay, meal worms usually should only be a treat. From what I've looked into, the vast majority of a chameleon's diet, for the vast majority of chameleons, meal worms aren't the best feeder choice. In fact they are kind of bad. If you've been feeding him more meal worms than locusts, crickets or roaches than switch it up. You did mention them as a treat though, so that's better. Especially if they are gut loaded. But ultimately they do not have any nutritional value, and can be difficult for chameleon's to digest sometimes. There wasn't a shell in his fecal matter was there?

Can you post a picture of him? He's not having any trouble eating is he? That is, eating things other than meal worms?

Yeah i had heard they werent the best but i cant seem to get hold of any other kinds of worms and hes has around 10 locusts and a couple mealworms but has only had the mealworms as a treat never as a staple diet and they are gutloaded.
Hes currently munching away on his locusts now so definatly no trouble eating hes very greedy.
All in all he his usual happy self loving to come out for cuddles all the time or to explore and hes always up basking after his dinner so im pretty certain hes getting a chance to digest his food.

Oh well he definitely looks fine to me. Just keep an eye out for that fecal matter, and give him lots of natural sunlight. The ultra violet rays will help him digest his food.

So turns out ckico had done a poo but it was in his reptile fountain, i thought his viv started to smell last nighg but couldnt see anything but when doing my normal clean of his viv i noticed it (i checked it yesterday so wasnt there long) luckily he rarely uses his fountain if ever but all is clean again and i can stop worrying!
