The are roaches but Not

Dubias.....

Someone with more exp. will probably reply soon. Definitely feed them off....

Those are NOT dubia roaches. Do not feed them off until you know what they are. They don't even all look like the same species, not even sure they are roaches.

Who did you get them from? Do NOT buy from them again.

It would be interesting to see how this works out... as Trillian said, don't feed them until you know what they are.

My husband thinks that they are oriental... I still think that they are German roaches... I'm not feeding them off more then likely getting killed off... Good news though I didn't waste any money on them!

I think they are german roaches but im no expert at all. it think these are edibal but wait until someone with more expirience answers for sure:)

They look like the common German cockroach to me. I can't be positive, but that is my guess. They will infest a house quite easily, btw.

Certainly not Dubias or Discoids, or anything else I've seen for sale as feeder roaches. I would just kill them off, you don't know that the guy didn't just catch them behind his house and that they're not covered in nastiness. Plus, I wouldn't want to let one of those get loose in my house!

Oh. my. goodness! As already established, those are not dubs! I know someone who has them if you're still needing some! ;)

Those are red runners. Very good feeder. Adults cant climb but the nymphs can. Oil the top of the container

I already killed them off... I didnt want them to infest or make Ringo sick... I am in need of dubias and working on getting some when I get paid on Wednesday. =) I asked the guy what they were and he said "I dont know!" He feeds them off to his bearded dragons and after seeing his beardies they looked like they were in really poor condition =(

that sucks...Red runners are much softer, faster and move much more than dubia.

The guys dragon looking in bad condition is more than likely a lack in care..Not from the feeder itself.

He probably thought that dubia and lateralis could be used interchangeably (in regards to amount.) They are definitely lateralis roaches though.
