Watch he doesn't step on the light hood...it will burn him... Maybe turn it off until you get him away from it...or hold something that won't catch on fire between him and it until you get hi off the cage lid.
To get him off try holding a stick or your hand in front of him and bringing your hand up behind him to encourage him to walk toward not the stick or your hand.

Thank you! We got him in Sept. Not certain on his age exactly he was a baby.
