Help please

My gravid female panther started digging last night it's been 19 days since she mated, I have just checked her and she's stopped digging but is sat on top of the soil and straining, I'm getting worried now as her eyes also look sunken.

She's still pushing so that must mean she's having contractions, should I take her the vets or leave her in peace for a while longer.

leave her alone for a while.. some times it can take them a while to lay, and 19 days isnt really something to worry about that much.. that is a little quick to start laying, but not unheard of.

Sometimes females wont lay if they are being bothered, or if they are nervous, so give her some space for a day, keep her misted, and she should be ok.

It's her sunken eyes that are worrying me they were fine last night

egg laying takes quite a lot out of them, and getting worn out is not uncommon. when she does lay, make sure se has access to high quality foods, and good amount of water.

Thanks for the advice, I think I will leave her till the morning then if she's not laid ill get her to the vet.
