No , she is not really eating lately except for sone banana and applesFed her anything unusual lately?
once I did the form no one responded to meMy though my process:
problem: her tail is unusually dark
(data point: it’s curled, so she still has tail mobility; unless it’s been curled since it became dark)
test: reach for her. Does her tail return to normal color when she fires up?
what might cause this:
- whatever husbandry issues are lacking given your filling out of the form.
- an injury, such that there is necrotic tissue causing a blackening of the tail
- a viral/bacterial infection such that the tail tissue is affected
- a really strange shed
- ?
resolution: fill out the form, address any husbandry issues, probe the community and your vet for other possible causes, and work with your vet to eliminate possibilities
in the mean time: monitor color, smell and functionality of the tail

Yikes, that’s perhaps less than cordial. Brody may be blunt, but he really is an invaluable resource here. Please try to temper your frustration; we’re all trying to help.you are despicable! I don't want your #$%$$ advice go somewhere else !!!
He is being rude ! I don't want more stress I am already stressed out about her situation!I believe this is the form op has filled out in the past. https://www.chameleonforums.com/thr...on-have-their-mouth-open.170149/#post-1499511
@Farrah there is no need to attack a member who is trying to help you. Without all of the information, including photos of everything, there’s no way to try and figure out what may be causing your chameleon’s problem.
I don't want any more comments about that thing , I am trying to help my chamYikes, that’s perhaps less than cordial. Brody may be blunt, but he really is an invaluable resource here. Please try to temper your frustration; we’re all trying to help.

I think you read something into his post that wasn’t there. He said ‘lol,’which is typically a congenial way of expressing an ‘I’ve made that kind of mistake too,’ kind of empathetic sentiment. I realize you’re stressed out, but I can personally attest that Brody has been a trusted advisor and a much needed source of calm-cool-collected thinking—even when I was freaking out about something. He is being rude ! Ok, so there’s a shed? Did you try reaching for your Cham? Does it’s colour change uniformly?I don't want any more comments about that thing , I am trying to help my cham
today the shed started all her head and her body but not the tailOk, so there’s a shed? Did you try reaching for your Cham? Does it’s colour change uniformly?
When you have time, it’d be great to read your filled out form. In the meantime, it might be wise to book a vet appointment. If nothing else, it’s a great opportunity to run a fecal and get a checkup.today the shed started all her head and her body but not the tail
she changes color yes
