HELP. My chameleon has eaten dirt and sticks

Hi every one. I'm a new veiled chameleon owner. I've had my chameleon for just under a year and he has been doing great. Just recently ive notice he has been climbing to the bottom of the tree where its planted and eating some of the sticks that are in the soil... obviously this is not good for him even though it is organic soil I bought. what should I do?? will he be ok? do I need to change the soil? what to look for I appreciate any advise thank you

Make sure you are giving him calcium on his food daily and calcium with d3 twice a month.

Also cover the soil with big rocks.

Yer i would say the same thing also make sure he is pooping you don't want it blocking him up
