my rudis was with my senegal and I've only had them about a week and i thought my rudis when i got her was rather large and grumpy. so i told the reptile specialist at work ( cause i work at a pet store) she's pregnant she is huge!!! and she's all no i doubt it well i wake up this morning to what ten babies all are doing well and i separated then after an hour or so but any help would be amazing!!!
help i woke up and instead of 2 chameleons i have 12

Hey congrats,
You should get some pinhead crickets or fruitlflies for them,
And keep them all in a cage seperated from the big chams,
im no expert with alot of babies but this is what Ive heard from others with new baby chams, ask reptimom i think thats her username
,
she know rudis chams quite well and some other people also know quite alot.

do you have pics of how you are set up? curious about how you are handling the rudis, senegal and all the babies.
They are now separated I got them together (they where in the same cage )and they where both happy eating always a relaxed color and stuff but I have them in a 20gal so they never saw each other and my panther is def in her own cage and the babies in theres they r all well yay and happy

Uh oh, adult chameleons in a 20 gallon tank is also a no no (for MOST chameleons). Perhaps we could help ya out with your husbandry a little! A happy, healthy cham makes for a happy chameleon owner!
Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage construction (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
Lighting - What brand and type of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?

Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?

Man I am so confuse.. I thought he had his chameleon with a bird. Then it reminded me of the youtube video"birthing a chameleon" where this ownder had her jackons in a bird cage and use carrots and whatever to attract fruitflies for the chams to eat.

lighting-got to look but 50 uvb and basking
eating- gut loaded dusted crickets about 15-20
fecal-solid about once day give or take
history-dont know know shes a year and a half and is blind in one eye missing part of toes
how long ive had- about 1 months

age-about 1 1/2

the senegal and rudis and babies are on ficus and the panther is on fake plants ( its easier for her to use due to her foot) all uvbs go off at 9pm and on at 7 am (always on time) basking goes to about 50% turn down at night feeding is twice a day ( helps me monitor how much they eat ) and is around 8am and 5 pm the panther loves going out side and my senegal loves my head lol he sleeps on it all the time the rudis i didnt handle much due to the thought of her being pregnant and babies have ony been touched when moving cages
all are in screen cages except babies to help keep humidity higher and fruit flies in they are doing amazing by the way and pics computer is way stupid not workin im trying they all get misted twice a day all have drippers and 2 gauges of hum and temp on both sides of the cage ( to help keep temps perfect) i think the only mistake was size of cages and rudis and senegal together but any help way welcomed they all get dusted crickets with miner-all and crickets i gut load umm i think that is it wow that was a lot

i didnt buy any of them at all and i am like a sponge i am new and trying and everything is getting fixed up i dont buy animals on impulse i have 4 horses that are in amazing shape 5 beautiful dogs a ducan sphynx and a mancoon and a calf we love animals and have a huge amount of reptiles all of which we rescued and lived their life with us till the end i have had pythons and bearded dragons and little lizards hedge hog geckos iguanas ill show pics...

Thanks, all of those provided articles are GREAT! I especially like the one by John Lucas explaining how to raise your own crickets, silkworms, and fruit flies!
