I have recently noticed my female veiled had gotten new colors. Bright blues and bright oranges. I've read that this can mean she is mature and can lay eggs. She has been crawling all along the bottom of her cage and to the top. I've also read to feel their tummy and that's a way to tell is they have eggs. I'm starting to really think that she has eggs. I put a good sized bin in her cage and she had no interest. I'm scared she will have to lay eggs and not be interested in the bin and not lay them. What should I do?

How old is she?

I believe the coloring you discribed means she is gravid. This does not mean you will wake up with eggs tomorrow but keep the lay bin in the cage. As long as it is big enough (about 8-12 inches deep) and is moist enough you can dig a hole that will not collapse she will more than likely lay in it.

I hope so, she has not even stepped in the bin since its been in her cage. But I will keep it in there. It's a little over a foot long. I'm just terrified she'll not lay them and have big problems.

Just make sure she has access to a laying bin and you should be fine. They know what to do, you just need to provide the opportunity.
