This seems like a great place to be. Plenty of information and friendly people. I'm glad we found you.
I have been keeping reptiles for over 20 years now. My two daughters (9 and 11) have grown up with the hobby and love it. My wife has been warming up to the lizards over the years but does not like the ball python (which of course is kept in our bedroom).
We also have a bearded dragon which is about 8 years old. 'Danny' was my youngest daughters first word. The power of the dragon!
My wife saw a baby chameleon a few weeks ago and thought it was cute. So taking that cue, the next time the girls and I went to the local reptile store we came back with a 3 month old Panther. He/she is definitely getting lots of attention and my wife is even into taking care of it. Just got the cage all set up the way it needs to be and just need to add the Mist King which is coming Tuesday. This is my second chameleon with my first being a female Senegal I had a long time ago.
Other reptiles I have had: Iguanas, ball pythons, and a savannah monitor.
