Hello everyone i have some very bad news

It’s a hard lesson to learn that chameleons can and will jump out of our hands if they are scared or stressed enough. Chameleons are not the easiest of animals to keep, which is probably why our forum is so active…we need all the help and support we can get. As I said earlier, accidents happen. Let healing and forgiveness into your heart. 💗

If you decide to get a new chameleon, don’t do it as a knee jerk reaction to grief. I would sit down and think about anything you could do better husbandry wise and get those things sorted out before a new chameleon comes home. That’s what I did. I let the cage sit for a few weeks and went through the grief issues and when I was thinking clearly, I brought home Tony my veiled.

So sorry to hear about Rango. It was a accident and not your fault. I hope you feel better soon.
