With my last feeder order (which I have commented on elsewhere), I got a dish of 250 small silkworms. First time I put one in the chameleon snack dish he gobbled it right up pretty quick. Last few times he never ate them. At first I was a little concerned but then realized that he was probably not seeing his food, or it was too low down for him to grab comfortably.
This last feeding, I decided to put a few small silks in his cage but this time, instead of putting them in his dish I put them on some of his ficus leaves. Normally he waits until I leave before he starts hunting but I swear, I have never seen him move so fast for food. I was not out of the cage yet and he was walking out and playing cat and mouse. Very funny. Walked out, then back in a few seconds later- all 3 gone! Man he likes worms! He used to love wax worms before I stopped offering them.
