It is nice and sunny so I have been putting the herd out for nice "outside" time!

Leon loves it! But Leon loves everything. He is such an easy lizard!

Carla hates it. She is a difficult lizard-but she did let me get her without the gloves! Funny thing is-she never shows gravid colors. She laid a clutch a few days ago-never showing gravid colors. But when she is mad-she gets black!

And Nippy-she is also easy. She soaked up some sun also!

Good stuff Juli!
I always enjoy seeing all your pictures!:D
Yea, Carla looks pissed!
Do you have to rotate the chameleons that go outside because you have so many?

Julirs, is Carla Gravid? Or just totally pissed? Didn't she just lay eggs? Looks great!

Yep-she just laid a clutch-she was totally pissed. I have many cages, but that one is just perfect for sunning.

See mean Carla!

Wow, she looks mad mad mad, I wouldn't want to mess with her. Does she just like not like being outside?

Hmm, I wish mine was like that, hes never agreeable . Oh well, nice looking Chameleons!

Bottom picture is great! I've never seen a cham that actually looked so happy. Looks like she's actually smiling. I know your female isn't gravid, but I think the gravid colors on a female veiled are one the prettiest of all chameleons. Thanks for sharing the pictures. David

Lovely photos, your female veiled certainly looks furious! I would be too afraid to approach her looking like that I think!

Nice pics. I took my guys out today. First day in Maryland for a while. I also took my new ball python and red tail boa out. They were enjoying some nice sun also. Cant wait till I can leave them out for good. They seem much happier when they are living out side.

Beautiful photos! Up here in the Great Northwest we have to wait a couple more months before taking our guys outside.

Thank you for mentioning about Carla never taking on gravid colors this time around. I had a female veiled do the same. And, this particular girl doesn't get lumpy either (she's a large size so carries her eggs well). So, I wondered if the male she mated with was sterile or something, because she didn't look at all gravid. Anyway, about 30 days after the mating she didn't eat for 2 days, and so I put her in a laying bin and after a couple of days she laid her clutch. Twenty nine eggs. Now that you've mentioned it I feel better, knowing that it's not unheard of for them not to show gravid colors. It just means I need to mark the calendar and be extra watchful for signs of imminent egg laying.

Cains where in Maryland are you at? I just took him outside here, its so beutiful! And he LOVED the mist so well. I plan to take him out more often.

one of these days, i'm hoping to get an easy going chameleon (if luck allows).
all my chameleons are super pissy (not that i'm complaining :D).
I'm getting a new one in 2 months. I'm hoping he might be the one ;)

great pics BTW!
