So 5 months ago at the pet store I work at we got in a female veiled, she was sick. I hand fed her and grew to love her. I traded some heating pads I had laying around for a giant screened in enclosure and bought a UVB light and a heat light. Finally once I had enough funds to take her to the vet I took her from the store and got her set up in her new home, 2 days later she went to the vet and was diagnosed with a chronic double eye infection. After a week of antibiotic drops, her eyes are open and her appetite is endless! We aren't out of the woods just yet, but I'm so happy with her progress so far!
It is so empowering to save an animal! I thought I would share her story with the forum because so many rescues don't get better.
Here are some pics of Priscilla!
When I first got her home, she could barely hold on to the vines-

A few days after the start of the eye drops she got to go outside and bask, she loved it!-

And here she is today! She was a little upset because she hates the eye drops, but look how much better she looks!-
