Happy OR Not?????

How do I know if she is happy with the setup?? Basic question just want to hear it from you guys.

An unhappy cham will either pace the walls or top of the cage constantly trying to get out or sit hidden, dark, and not eat or drink. A contented cham will show quieter colors, bask, eat, drink, and then pick a favorite spot to observe the world. You'll see a daily pattern in where the cham likes to be at a particular time of day.

If you just got him he will pace the cage until he is familiar with his new home. It's common with new chams. He should be left alone aside from feeding him or watering him.

alright thanks I was a little worried but i have noticed her sticking to the same areas.

If she has a good enclosure, she should already have her favorite spots, especially for basking and sleeping. However, if she changes from time to time, do not worry! ;)

A good way to higher your chance that your chameleon is happy in his enclosure (if a chameleon can be happy...), i suggest you fill this form and have your whole setup reviewed:

Crickets waxworm, till she shows no itrest 10am and
6pm,feeders eat clcium suplement oranges lettuce (not iceberg)I wouldn't feed as late as 6pm. You want your chameleon to be able to digest her food.

She has a night light red heat lamp.lights come on at 7am and off at 8pmShe doesn't need a night light. You should get rid of the red basking bulb and get a normal house 65 watt bulb. You need a 5.0 linear uvb bulb as well.
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
from about 70 to 85 lowest temp is about 74 I have to gagues and i use a infered temp gauge

messege to short....
I had no choice of age my friend got her and couldn't take care of her
I have D3 i dust twice a week and the multivitamin is every other week
She gets her sunlight daily
The UVB light was damaged in shipment waiting for replacement
What time should I feed her?
The cage temp drops to much is the cage has no lights at all on

D3 should only be used twice a month as well as the multivitamin. I feed all my chams about 2 hours after lights come on(7 am) so they have the rest of the day to digest and do whatever they feel like doing. How cold does the cage get at night? If it gets below 60 degrees then I recommend you get a space heater. Chameleons can see the red light so at night it is probably disturbing her.

So I need no lights on at night? And a 65 wat for day time basking and thats all the lights other than the uvb?????

No lights on at night, a good drop in temp is good for them. All you need is the 65 watt basking bulb and the reptisun 5.0 uvb bulb for lighting.

She still hasn't grasped how cup feeding works she still isn't eating that way the only way i get he to eat is to but her and crickets in a smaller box.

Why dont you just let her hunt then? That's the main way mine eats, she likes to go after her food for the most part.
