I handle frequently all of my free ranged chams. Especially my Nosy Be, Will. I was just down visiting Dr Alfonso on Friday with Will for a well visit. He saw how I interacted with him and I asked him if he was stressed at all. He said he absolutely was NOT stressed by me. He even thinks Will is more laid back that Jann's Luie! He said Will is incredibly comfortable with my handling and kissing him. Dr A also said Will was super healthy.
I had a receptive female Nosy Be with me as well and Dr A showed her to Will. Will studied her for a little while, then reached for me and laid his face down on my cheek. Dr A laughed and said I can forget mating him, he has decided I am his mate. LOL I tried again today to show Will the pretty girly cham, he did the same thing.
This chameleon thinks he is a dog. He will climb down his vine and sit beside me on the couch and hold my finger with his little hand, while watching TV. If that's what handling your cham and free ranging will do, I'm glad I did it.![]()
Aw thats cute haha im hoping that my cham wont mind being handled or even enjoy it, but if not im ok with that too, i got my cham knowing that they arent really supposed to be handled so if it doesnt work out ill be a little bummed
