Hand feeding

What is the best way to hand feed my chams??
Any good tips and trick

Mine is frightened to death of me. He runs away so hand feeding seems an age away. But I am definitely interested in the answers to this question!

There really is no science to it. Some chameleons are just more comfortable doing it than others. My advice would be to not give up and just keep trying. hoepfully the more he gets to know you the more he will trust you. You could try tongs and see if he would go for that and then graduate into using your hand instead. Try using a worm that wiggles alot to get his attention. Crickets don't move much! Just an idea...

Cool I hadn't even thought of using work lol dumb. Mega worms ok or should I op to give them a different kind. Thanks for the info.

what are mega worms...superworms? Yeah you could use those if they are very smal if you have a very young chaml. I would use small silkworms, they wiggle and they don't bite!

If you feed in the morning you could wait to feed in the evening instead. Then all your chameleon will be thinking about is it's stomach. That's how I got mine to hand feed for the first time.
