So I know there is probably a a topic on this already but I can't find it so sorry everyone, just was looking for a good Gutload that I can stick in a blender, blend into a paste and stick in the fridge or freezer and just defrost when I need them?? Thanks all and sorry again

I call BS! :p LOL Theres plenty of info! ;) Sandrachameleon has an excellent blog on it here. You can use all sorts of stuff, and change it to keep it interesting and provide a wider range of nutrients. I use dandelion and hibiscus leaves all the time as they are free:p Butternut squash, mustard greens, berries, orange, collard greens, are common things people use. Dont use spinach, and dont use kale in high amounts. Check out sandrachameleons blog though, as its much more comprehensive and thorough than what I can come up with off the top of my head...

Hahahaha I'm on an iPhone my comp is out of commission, I've seen some topics on just gutloading with solids but was wondering if there was some sort of paste like mix I could make, I'll check that topic, thanks again

Hi
Things you could chop up and freeze (ice cube trays work well):
Fruits: papaya, apple, orange, blueberry (individually or together)
Veg: dandelion, butternut squash (steamed /cooked), yam (steamed), rocket / arugula, mustard greens, kale, alfalfa sprouts, well rinsed bull-kelp fronds ...
You could also throw in a few seeds, like sunflower or sesame

I recommend making a very small amount, to ensure your crickets etc will eat it, before you make a big batch.

So would I just stick all that stuff in a blender and wizz it up to a liquid mix? Then pour it into the ice cube trays and freeze? Thanks everyone

I would recomend straining it before freezing, i use a t-shirt. It seems to not mold after thawing if I do that.

i make dubi cookies... (i mean cookies for my dubia) i make a pretty nasty smoothie out of colorful fruits and veggies
( i dont use a set recipe, just what ever i have on hand, it's different every time) and freeze, then as needed, i break off a chunk and thaw then mash in as much gut load as it will hold, then i try to crumble it onto a cookie sheet, and bake at 250 for 30 minutes or so. it comes out looking like nasty granola, but works well in my feed cups!
I do alot of Crested geckos too, i just started throwing my dried up uneaten CGD into my roach tubs, they love it more than a crackhead loves crack!

Thanks solid snake, this cookies sound nice hahaha, and check out that recipe, thanks everyone much appreciated
