Gular edema?

My chameleon might have gular edema. She just laid her first clutch about a month ago. I use repashy bug burger as a gutload for crickets and mealworms. I also use repashy calcium plus ICB as a supplement to dust before feeding. Today I put 3 crickets in her cage without being dusted and she keeps missing the crickets and getting the fake plants/foliage I have in her cage. Any help would be appreciated I'm not sure how to fix this or if this even what's wrong with her.

From what I understand that's a common side effect of egg production and egg laying. I don't know how long it can go on though, so hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in.

Cutting back on calcium does not necessary fix an imbalance, I guess its worth a shot though and you can start from there. Gular Edema is cause by various reasons and not always the the same answer for all.

Koopa had very slight Mbd right before I knew she was going to lay eggs. And I got that fixed. I'm worried if I cut back on her calcium, she will get Mbd again.

Don't cut the calcium out, reduce the amounts. Try dusting 2 or 3 of the crickets instead of all of them. When the edema goes down, ease back up to your normal supplementation.

Have any pics? I dont get that its only on one side of the kneck..Im not sure this is edema.

DO NOT stop using plain phosphorus free calcium every feeding....IF you dont have any. Buy some! Most insects we feed do not have a balanced ca/phos ratio. When we dust we are trying to balance this all out in the end. Does a chameleon need calcium every day, NO but you are asking for problems in due time not dusting.

How old are your lights? Can i see a pic of the cage with the lights? Type of lights?

Really you need to fill out a how to ask for help form.
