I was wondering why in any of the gutloading info that none mention to use Guava? Is it harder to find in the mainland so just not that common or easy to get? Or is there something bad about it? I know guava is not as well known to most compared to other fruits yet Guava is one of the healthiest fruits in the world. It contains vitamin-C, Vitamin-A, lycopene, and contains more potassium than a bannana. Do a google search on it and you will see the many benefits of it. Being in Hawaii I have easy access to lots of Guava.

I plan on tomorrow getting a couple Guava trees to use for the cages tomorrow and using the Guava fruit as a good gutload for my feeders. Could it be because it is rich in vitamins which is why it may be bad? I only see good and lots of good from Guava. Let me know your thoughts and opinions.

I would think that it may just be to much at one time if you gut load your feeders constantly with it. Idk how much it has compared to a Multivitamin but it sounds like having a multivitamin every feeding lol Not sure though, I am not very informed on that fruit at all, i just use mangos and Potatoes for my gut load. Good mix. But personally I dont think you can really get to many vitamins in that form, the feeder will probably poop a bit of it out so it would be super duper loaded with them. That is my thinking around that.
