growing up and becoming a big boy?

hello! my jackson male is roughly 8 months. ive had his cage on my dresser which is partially infront of a mirror. and ive noticed he does a twitching movement with his head every so often when he catches glimpse of the "chameleon in the mirror". ive read thats a way to show this is is his territory and as a defense mechanism in a way. after reading that i covered it up so he cant see himself. he still does it towards me every now and then, but hes also lowered his food intake. is this part of "growing up"??

Yup....they aren't growing so quickly, they don't eat as much.

Jacksons dont eat much when they get older. They are also very territorial, but the head bobing could just mean that he thinks your hot!
