If anyone sees any problems with the set up let me know what I'm doing wrong and i'll change it ASAP

Even at the top of the screen isn't perfect, depends on how much watt they have. Such bulbs could cause burnings very fast and because of this please put them as fast as possible outside

He is correct. What are your wattages? If they are too high, you need to elevate them above the cage.

the UV is 15W and the basking lamp is considerably more, but I can't see teh wattage on the bulb anywhere and got rid of the box a while ago

Once you get everything set in place, tell us what your basking temperature is. I do not think the 50w will cause problems if it is on the screen. It depends what temperature readings you get.

You can't really use wattage as a gauge for your basking bulb.
You really need to know the exact temperature at the basking spot and adjust the height or wattage to attain the proper temp.

I see that the back rock is like styrofoam (err i cant spell that haha) Is that safe I would think that his claws tear pieces off? and also get water in there and cause mold????

Goggles is spot on. Let us no when you get your basking temperatures Jimmy, and then we will go from there.

the basking spot is on a thermostat with a probe. It is set at 82 degrees, with the probe a little above the basking spot. At night I turn it down to 70 degrees

The setup is pretty, and I like the plants and vines. You said the UV is 15W, and I couldn't see it well; which type of UV? Compact fluorescents have been shown to cause eye damage and are strongly discouraged. Linear is what most people use; usually ReptiSun or ReptiGlo 5.0 or 10.0 (don't know how to translate to watts; the numbers here refer to % UVB). Mercury vapor also works (it's what I use), but is usually much higher wattages (100W), and is hot enough to need to be separated from the animal.

Jimmy, do you have an exo terra set up? If so you can get the Dual Top that sits on top of the screen - it houses the bulbs safely out of harms way.
