Going to do it!!!

Ok after viewing psycho bunnies pictures I'm going to do it, I'm going to set up a free range spot in my studio. Will she stay in that area typically? Should I run vines back to her enclosure incase she wants to go back in it?

Also, I tried to make a dripper today by using a lancet needle to poke small holes in a gallon jug. It went horribly wrong. What am I missing? Just poke one hole?

If she feels comfortable and has everything she needs, yes, she may stay. Some are wanderers, regardless of what you do so cham-proof the room.

You don't want to skewer the jug with the entire needle, or you'll get a little stream. You want to use just the sharp tip of the needle, where it's narrowest. That usually gets you the nice, even dripping.

I have a "big dripper" and made a sort of manual raindome from the 1/4 inch tubing that came with my monsoon and I also bought the same size tubing but it is porous so the water just leaks through. I made a circle with the porous tubing and connected to the big dripper with the black tubing so there are several areas over one of the plants that has water available all the time, except at night I clamp it off. I can send you pictures if you want when I get home and can use my computer. I got the porous tubing and connectors on Amazon by searching for rainbird or raindrip irrigation supplies.

Please do, I'm going to repoke holes tomorrow in a new jug. Today was a mess trying to get the drip right.

Here is a link to the previous thread in which I posted the pictures of my dripper: https://www.chameleonforums.com/big-dripper-tubing-set-up-121916/ The only thing different now is what I used for the circle that drips the water into the cages. I found a 1/4 inch porous hose that is used for irrigation of plants. I found it on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000LNSX82/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1; Raindrip 015005T Flexible Soaker Hose, 1/4-In. x 50-Ft.
Hope this helps.

I have vines going to each cage, and connecting, like road ramps, to a main "Beltway" loop.
That way, all I have to do is open their cage door, and they know where their "access road" is :D

There are also access roads to all their favorite spots, like the window, when the sun is on that side of the house.

Bunny your setup inspires me. It's so amazing. I want to run vines around out of her cage and mount them around my studio for when it's just us in there. I'm also thinking about tearing out the shelves of my built in wood book case and putting up mesh over them and making a huge enclosure considering it covers a whole wall. Put a draining system in the bottom.mount the lights up top.

I ran it by my husband, he said possibly. I'm getting a panther in Jan. So excited. Iv made up my mind. So that baby will get Fritas 18x18x36 till it's ready for a bigger one and chunky is going to get her longevity enclosure.
