I'm going to Rehobeth Beach and then to Ocean City until Monday. My cousins just drove off with my Veiled Chameleon, Rufus. I told them about the care and everything. They took the 1000 crickets too. He's probably going to be a little stressed from a 30 min. car ride. But he'll be fine I think.

You should have just left him at your place and let your cousins come over for a night or two instead of the stress. Your chameleon should be able to go a day or two without food at all. I don't see how if you left a few in there when you left he would be in any harm. But the car ride should be fine, my Veiled went on a 45 minute car ride when i moved
