is it safe for plants used in chameleon's cage?

you could try building a gnat trap. you get a note-card, bend the edges (to avoid sticky mess) put some sticky food in it like peanut butter, jelly etc and wait. Although i've never used this in a Chameleon cage so i dont know if those would be bad for a cham to eat.

Dodolah,

I am aware this is an old post and have come across some information about the type of bacteria that is used with gnatrol. It is Bacillus Thuringiensis bacteria and appears to be a natural insecticide primarily used on such insects as gnats, locus, and beetles and their larvae. There are numerous strains of this bacteria and other types; furthermore, this specific strain has been used on most acgricultural and hydroponic applications to prevent damage to plants from insects. There is a lot of info out there. It states it is human and pet safe; however, that could just mean cats and dogs, cows and chickens for all I know. Google Bacillus Thuringiensis and you can find alot more about it. Gnatrol uses this and I believe some others.
