Glass cleaning?

Any recommendations for a safe way to clean the glass on my EcoTerra? I'm not going to disrupt things by scrubbing it on a daily basis once I have the pygs, but I see a lot of water spotting now when I'm testing it out with the light. Obviously I don't want to risk Windex or anything else with noxious chemicals. I'll wipe it down good with distilled water, but would appreciate any other suggestions.

'Nother question. Can I put a Decorative Backing (like on aquariums) on my EcoTerra? - I'm thinking something like a shot encompassing the forest floor and a rising redwood trunk. If this would confuse or trouble the pygmies, I am by no means wedded to the idea.

Those products wont remove hard water spots . I spray a little C.L.R on a paper towel and wipe the glass this takes the hard water stains right off just dont spray it into the terarium. You can buy CLR at the hardware store .

I setup a bin with an inch of water/ vineger . I then place the exoterra in the bin and rotate it every 10 minutes . Hard water stain are gone. Just be sure to rinse with water .
