Getting my first panther...

I love chameleons and have raised many veilds, but i think its time to move on to a more vibrant creature. Anyone had any luck with screameleons, kammers, or flchams? thinking of a nice ambilobe or sambava.

I think if you search them on the forums you will find lots of satisfied owners from all of those vendors. I know I see those names all the time. Not sure where you are in the country but Bruce at Chameleon Paradise is great and I have gotten both of my panthers from him. He is in California. I wanted to stay on the same coast to reduce in flight time. don't know if it actually matters...

happy cham owner..

Hi.. I am a new cham owner.. and my 1st cham is a panther ambi.. I've had him for about 4 months now and I am very happy with my lil guy. I some what did my homework before I got flex.. I looked at screameleons and the price ran over $300. I also looked at a hand full of other breeders and they were also about that same price. I went with The Chameleon Company out of florida and got my lil guy for just over $200.. I live in wisconsin and I got my guy on time with no issue... he is now getting some color and he looks like he will be a red-bar.. yeah!!!:) anyway good luck with your search..

im thinking about going with kammers chameleons with chameleonsonly.com. They have great full setup packages and i nice 45 day guarantee, though i know fully well i can care for this guy :) was just wondering if anybody had a nice turnout with these guys as i see they offer great products at what looks like a good deal. Though quality over price is always most important.

You should be great with any of those breeders you are considering.

I always thought kammers pricing was a little high, but I've ordered maybe half dozen chams from them over the years and they were always very healthy and thriving. Trouble free pet.

That is true of the others you are considering too though.

If I were you I'd probably choose according to how much I liked the looks of the parents because I really don't think you can go wrong with any of the folks you are considering...

Kammers

I just purchased a Cham from Kammers sired from Tokana and could not be happier. He is beautiful and has an appetite to go with his looks! I would not hesitate one bit about buying from them. Their prices are a bit high, but they have amazing blood lines. So, you get what you pay for. However, I thought their cage package was a bit overpriced as you can put an enclosure together your self for cheaper IMO. Good luck and let us know what you decide on!

I purchased my hybrid panther, Ryker from Kammers, they are amazing to work with and I love him to bits. He is suuuuper friendly, will hand feed without a problem and will pretty much eat anything that moves XD. I love him he's gorgeous and I definitely am now partial to hybrids even though I know a lot of people don't like them I just like the mystery of not knowing what they will look like at all when they get older. But that's just me ^^ I hope whoever you go with the little gem you get will be happy with you and give you no trouble XD
