Getting a tattoo....

It is heart disease awareness month, and my mother has been suffering from heart disease since I was 9. I made this tattoo, although I don't own the images, just put them together in a way that is meaningful to my family.

Here is is

Going to get it today if it isn't astronomically expensive :)

It looks like an ok design to me........Do you have any tatoos already?

No, not yet this will be my 1st and only lol

I have heard that they are addictive so make sure you're very careful ok? lol. Make sure that design is just exactly how you want it.
I do not recommend getting tatoos (just personal preference). My Grandad was in the Merchant Navy and had several tatoos. Big ugly blue anchor and a true-to-life mermaid.........
LOLOLOLOL. He regretted those tats, bless him :)

I have a few others but these are the only two family related...
People are always saying what about when you get old and wrinkled,, well at that point I probably won't care!!! ;)

@David Lol! I won't get addicted. My daddy has 6 and my brother has too many to count, I like the way my skin looks now, and I've been drawing this in the exact same place for years lol. But I get your point. That's why I've waited so long is to make sure I really want it.

@djfishygills LOL

@Lisa Mine is kinda along the lines of the one for your mother. My mom is my inspiration to be a nurse, and she inspires me everyday. She is the reason I'm going to get it, mainly just so that I remember forever that she is my inspiration. and Whenever I feel like I can't keep going, she'll kick my @$$ back in the game because she has done so much more with as many issues as she has.

Why does it look more like it's about music than about yo mamma? lol......I guess it's quite rocknroll :D

This is so true in so many ways, I had my first during my job training in the army.. 3 years later I had 5 more tats lol. They are HIGHLY addictive. It does look like a good design and as long as you go to a reputable artist it will come out great.

Probably the only time I'll disagree with David is I recommend getting tattoos, absolutely love them and you can use them for a way to express something, such as your heart for heart awareness. Or stupid things (like myself) where you get the your favorite cartoon character...wall art... triforce from Zelda... Or (little less meaningless) A bacardi bat for all my army buddies that I used to drink with.

Well the whole thing was going to be red but that's 100 bucks. But I'm waiting now bc I'm not sure about the design and the tattoo parlor scared me. Lol. But yeah its music, but I'm a band geek. Lol Idk I'm working on it

Lol.....I still don't recommend it. I've not got any and I have far too many 'addictions' as it is...........just my humble opinion etc. :D

Thanks:) lol I don't know if I'm getting it just yet. Not expensive but scary lol. The dude is awesome so I'm sure it would look great but I'm scared lol

So I changed it and showed it to my mom but she says she like it the way I had it originally netter lol. And on the bass clef on the inside I want it to say save a heart:)

Lol. I'm not sure now whether I will or not. I want to, but then there is that silly question of if I want it "forever" lol

I love the design!!! I have 6 but have them in places I can hide if I need to with the exception of the last one I got which is a breast cancer awareness tattoo that has a heart incorporate Into it. That one is on the inside of my wrist.

Out of the 6 I have, there is one I regret, well I don't regret the tattoo, i love the tattoo and its meaning but just the placement. All mine mean something to me too so that makes a difference I think.

they are VERY addictive! If you have an addictive personality, better not start=) I had a wee dragon done on my shoulder blade about 12 years ago. I though 'oh it's just one small tattoo'.. now I have half sleeve on the left arm, 3 big tattoos on my right arm and starting a huge Alien on my back:D
don't regret a single one.. but I really wish I'd stop getting them ha

good luck with your ink! It's gonna look good

I don't think I'll get addicted, I mean I hope not lol. A huge alien!?! Lol is it Paul?? He's the coolest alien ever lol!

Thanks!! I decided to wait, maybe like a week or so and reevaluate. The guy who would do it is named Pnut lol. He's pretty awesome.
