Gathering of water at bottom of cage

I have a all wire and glass bottom cage.What do you guys do when all the water gathers at the bottom I always have to be taking all the water out every 2 or 3 days Is there any solution

Do you have paper towel on the bottom? I have a few of the glass bottom enclosures and this is the only thing I could think of. The paper towel should dry some what before each misting.

Years ago, the local reptile store that I deal with had 3-4 glass-bottom enclosures that he wanted to use for chameleons. We decided to bust out the glass and drop in a PVC sheet drilled with a few drain holes in its place. It actually turned out pretty good. Another choice is to get a new enclosure that already has the PVC bottom . All it takes is money .

That old water can be full of nasty things (parasites, bacteria etc.) so you want have that bottom dry-out between mistings.

i had a glass bottom cage a one time and i pulled the glass out and replaced it with a piece of plexi-glass. then i used a dremmal to router out a hole it it and put a drain in it. then i used aquarium silicone to seal up the edges. elevate a live plant right over the drain to put weight over the drain so the plexi glass bends and all the water drains out
