Ryan i would so like to have a crested gecko, but after getting the shit bit out of me by a tokay, then a white spotted, I am just so gutless. Also if another one gets out in the house I will have a very unhappy hubby.:( Took a month to catch the white spotted.

They are not really sold, but I should have babies this year.

Cresteds don't bite , so no worries there. The gargies are a little more agressive but not much.

Ryan you have to lay off the crack. :p

Laurie, Gargs are way more mellow than a Crestie. I was getting ready to sell my collection and I just couldn't do it.

You can't go wrong with a Garg.

This is 'Marble' and she isn't my high red. :D

Thanks for the gargie pix! They're just such chunky-looking lizards, and I think that's what I like most about them. Definitely my next non-chameleon herp... (unless we pick up another newt, and those hardly count)

Ryan - the pics are awesome! Couldn't decide between cresties and gargs - went with the cresties because I heard the gargs could be harder to handle. I do love my cresties though.

Buying all Rhacodactylus geckos. :D :D :D

Ryan!!!!! Tell me when you have babies, I would (seriously) like to get one on hold for the next show.

For the most part, yes! My two gargoyles tolerate being held and have never bit me. :)

Great photos! I'm really liking my little Gargoyle that I got from Ryan, too. After about a week in a temporary tub-cage I moved her into an XL Exo-Terra. She hid for another week and didn't seem to be eating which had me a little worried but all is well now. Now she stays in the top of a THICK cut piece of bamboo at the top of the cage and by about 6-7pm she comes out and hangs on some branches or bark upside down for a few more hours. Close to our bedtime I put in some Repashy diet and check a little later to see her standing over it, licking away. The little crickets all seem to vanish overnight now, too.

Thanks for sharing and thanks again for my little garg!
