I hope it works for you, and I believe you that you monitor your animals very well. I would be a shame when she would die due to stress when laying her eggs.
I have never seen campani in the wild do you know if they live very close to eachother or that they move a lot? I can believe they live close to eachother.
It's a good sign he isn't interested anymore.
