Frack(azoid) my Beardie

Well... first time making a thread, so no idea what to say or anything, but figured I should share my bearded dragon with you all. It's my Love that has the cham (I'm on here to learn about them...)

Anyways...

Here's Frack (aka Frackazoid)... He's about a year and 2 months old, and his colors are starting to really develop:

He's sitting on my desk on fresh paper, and yes, I know there's very light stress marks, but he's not used to being set down outside of his tank without my hand being on him or having his harness on.

Questions? Comments? Sarcastic comments?

Kinda, but not hugely, but I know what it means on it... and with how crazy he can be sometimes, it suits!

@ Dav - I know!! he's 18.5 inches tip of nose to tip of tail about (since he doesn't really let me measure without trying to get away from teh ruler)

No, she origionally had a female by the name of Spatz but it unfortunately died while I was in boot. While I was in she grabbed frack and frick (she origionally had a pair) and they were doing fine. Unfortunately frick passed away over last christmas while we were gone.

He's nice looking and looks healthy.

I like the pattern.

I'm wondering what you believe the stress marks are?

They change color/pattern a bit with ambient lighting, temperature and activity and stimulation. I don't know that I would call what I see on yours stress.

His stress marks would be when his beard goes almost a lead black and he will develop a black spotted pattern on his stomache. Rarely does it unless no one pays attention to him.

I would attribute that more to stimulation than to stress.

If they are feeling territorial or trying to attract a mate or just feeling uppity they will blacken the beard.

@ Fluxlizard

Ayes, his beard was a bit faded from it's normal bright orange for him, and just the vaguest gray circles on his belly which is normally pure white with no gray at all, he tends to go that way when he's on the ground (he also flattens himself down or goes into the grass if I'm not in sight) or when something's new to him and he's not used to it... the paper had slid a bit under his paws causing him a very brief upset at first.

@ Dav
Ayes, when he's ignored and wants attention (especially if he wants to go out!) but also when/if I clean my room because he doesn't like the environment changing without his say so XD

Well... Frackazoid is at it again... I told him no many a times when he tried... but when I had to bend down to shoo the cat out of the room, he went from my shoulder to my back, then darted up onto my head before I could stop him when I straightened up...
