Found out my Lilly has parasites.

I've been wondering why she has been acting weird lately so I finally decided to take a fecal sample in for an exam. She has hookworms they said and I've been given some medicine for her to take for three days. Today being day one, it was quite difficult to get her mouth open, for she is a very sweet chameleon and it is impossible to piss off to the point of opening her mouth. So I had to pry it open and shove the meds down. She seems to be doing well. Along with the meds a full enclosure clean out and inspection was done with a new umbrella plant and a new laying bin. She seems to love the new setup and I hope she gets rid of these darn things.

Oh and I found out she weighs 31 grams at about 5 months.

Sorry to hear about Lilly. All chams get parasites CB and WC. Give her the meds for 3 days, wait 2 weeks and then give it for 3 more days. Then get another fecal about 2 to 3 weeks after the 2nd round of the meds.
