Stickers ( 10-12m old F Velied) is force fed while on her medicines. I try to feed her medium worms when i give her the oral meds. So far we have only been abe to get her to eat about 4 worms a day. Then yesterday i tried the crickets again and she ate 5 lg ones! I was so excited. Not really sure how much she eats regularly . We have had her 11 days and she has been on meds and not eating on her own. Not even sure her tongue works correctly. but after misting we saw her open her mouth to drink ( usually right after i start misting)
So my daughter grabbed the dropper and started to hand feed her water. She loves it. Now every time we bring out the dropper for meds or otherwise, Stickers opens her mouth to drink!
I feel so bad pulling on her chin and casque to open her mouth to feed.
I did see the tip of her tongue roll out for water so i am hoping she will use it soon so i can see if it is working .
