First time shedding!!

It's the first time I see him shed!!! Today in the morning i moved him along with his cage to the sun in my backyard. He turned to some really dark colors, like his vines, and now that im checking on him his ankle and a little under his tail he's showing some of that shedding skin (the gray skin)... im a little worried about something that i read that if he cant get that skin off his circulation might be cut off... so when should i help him take it off? like how much does he take to shed completely? hes like 5 months old and could be a she... but im hoping its a he...

I wouldn't suggest helping them to shed. You can do more harm than good. Don't worry, they know how to get it all off. When I have one shedding, I try to make sure to give them a couple extra mistings with really warm water.

Exactly. Don't worry, give a couple of warm mistings. Definitely don't pick at it, he might take a couple of days. Cutting off circulation is pretty unusual. A couple of close up pics of the base of the tail should tell what sex it is (if you have a panther).
