Dennis looks kinda lost with it being his first time and all. I'm not sure where you are, but having a simple outdoor enclosure for him would be awesome. That way he can enjoy himself and you can relax not worrying about him running off. Make sure he has plenty of water and some shade if you decide to do it. :)

My Veiled has one of those mesh reptariums for outside, it's 6ft tall with rope throughout for cruising and hanging, with a heavy plastic tray on top for when he wants shade. He gets misted regularly and loves it out there!! They are such sun worshippers!!

That's so true. There was a member that posted not too long ago that his veiled died because the wind blew over the cage. Just FYI :)

Thanks guys!

He was definately a little lost outside. Every time i put him down somewhere he kept grabbing at me lol He's so clingy!

Unfortunately im in the UK so the weather is rarely warm enough to warrant getting him an outdoor enclosure. Its easier to just take him out in the garden with me :D

Do you have a window that gets sunlight? In the winter I would put my cham on a limb in the window just so he could feel the warmth and see the sun. I know it didn't do any good as far as UVB goes. If the wind wasn't blowing too bad I would open the window which has a screen.

Aww, thank you.

I do think i spoil Dennis a bit. His cage is in my room (its about 6ft tall and not too attractive lol) and as it is half across the window i dont get much light in the room for myself. I hope he is grateful!!

He's such a nosey little guy though, spends all day looking at my neighbours through the window!

Oh, he certainly finds ways to pass the time lol. But he loves his time out of his cage though, he's always waiting and grabbing at my hands while im opening his cage up!

I've generally taken mine outdoors without a cage. Just don't turn your back on him - that "lost" stage may not last for long and, while they're not exactly speed demons, they can cover ground when they think they want to be somewhere!
He's a handsome veiled.
