There's been some talk about chams and their poop routine/preferences lately...
I present exhibit A:
Date taken: September 30, 2025.
Culprit: Mr. Jack, of the species: jackson chameleon xantholophus. Roughly, 10 months old.
Scenario: Mr. Jack has been in my care since May 2025; and moved into his big boy cage on July 1, 2025. He's always wondered to the same place to drop a #2. Very rarely, even if I remove the brackets, will he poop anywhere else...
PSA: Don't watch the tape, I was new and a noob. Don't use tape around your chams; it's foolish and very unsafe. Think about it... they're used as sticky traps to catch flies/undesirable rodents... Your cham can only get damaged from the adhesive from the tape, like a trap. Instead, invest in a hot glue gun and some glue sticks.
Today she hasn't gained too much weight, considering I just fed her to lure her into my hand... Sassy pants mode, initiate!
