So you already know the temperatures will be warm enough? :)
I've seen it snow on May 29th once upon a time!
I feel like the temperature thresholds I’m comfortable with could lead to controversy. I don’t want anyone to take my data and use it as some sort of metric for their chams—especially a relatively new keeper.
 
What are you using to waterproof the wood?
So, the bottom planter boxes will get paint-on rubber on the inside. It’s meant for fish ponds, so it’s safe. I haven’t decided on what to use for the visible parts. The stuff we used for the three we built last year worked well, but it needs yearly reapplication. There are a number of stains, and non toxic sealants, but I haven’t decided yet. Suggestions?
