First Chameleon, can't tell if he is just weird or something is wrong. (Screeching)

Hello all, I would first of all like to thank everybody for this forum, it helped greatly in learning about what I needed and everything to get. Okay, on to it now.

I have a adolescent male veiled named Indica (welcome to Colorado), and he screeches. I know everybody is going to get on here and say upper respiratory infection, but I don't think that is correct. He has none of the other symptoms but about twice a day, he screeches what I would say is shockingly loud. He is super mobile and friendly but I think he may think that he is Godzilla. Any thoughts or concerns?

I will say I have always had a nack for picking the really odd ones out of the litter for all of my animals, hopefully this is just another one of those times. We do laugh at him because he has an adorable extra like 1/3 inch of tail that doesn't fit in the center of his spiral.

Does he do it when he's asleep as well? Usually veileds with URI will "squeak" when they are asleep or produce a low hissing sound.

My female sometimes does it to me during the day only and thats when my hand is in her enclosure or I manage to spook her by accident.

Possibly a wild development.... I went to the pet store and talked to them about it. At first we thought it could possibly be my dog, but my dog is very calm and he has done it when my dog isn't even in the room. So the possibility we came up with and has actually fixed the issue, he had a view of my TV from his cage across the room, we are thinking it could have been some sort of predatory response from something he is seeing on the tv, and I know it sounds crazy, but I have not heard a peep from him since I corrected it..... Kinda weird, right?
