you to all!

Looks good. I have a couple of questions though:

I read where lights, especially basking, shouldn't rest on the top of the cage in case the chameleon crawls up there. Perhaps someone else with more experience can chime in, but just a thought.
Also, it looks like the top mesh is wet, probably from the mister. I would think that you would not want water to hit the light bulbs?

How is that ladder staying in place? Where did you get it?

and lastly, is that the hygrometer on the right side? I have been trying to find out where to place mine.

I made the ladder out of dowel rods from local craft store...3$ i attached everything to the cage by drilling a small pilot hole through each end and using fishing line. And my hydrometer is on the right side.

You can have your lights sit on top. It's almost better with the dome lights, more UVB will get through that way. Only way they can get to them is if you leave the door open. That's perfectly fine. And some water hitting the bulb is ok. Now if you dumped it on them, then you'd run into problems.

I think they are talking about basking bulbs so you don't burn your cham if it is too hot

I'm interested in also pnc more info on that drainage tray too I need some good ideas for one having a lot of trouble finding somthing that doesn't cost 100$ the dragon strands are nice but way too expensive add shipping and it's just ridiculous

Nice! Ok, so how did you bend the edges so straight? Where did you get it and the risers?
Well i work in a metal fabrication shop so the aluminum was around the shop and i used a large brake to bend the material.....really alot of material works you just gotta get a little creative

Working in a metal fabrication shop i had the material just laying around and just got a little creative but im sure if you went to a scrap yard ypu could find a piece of metal/aluminum/ thick plastic to repurpose

I was wondering if you worked in a shop. That looked too good to be hand done.

Thanks. Im happy with the turn out as well. With chameleons being a bit expensive when the enclosure is done right im all about saving money
